Ok I couldnt resist putting this shot up! I have been wanting to clear up my backlog of photos to process for a while now but have been either too busy with school work, design work or skiing.
The only reason im disrupting the chronological order of my gallery with this shot is because it was the only landscape shot I got from this skiing photography trip and Im really happy with it.
It is of the moon rising through clouds, just above the snowy peaks of the craigyburn range. I was in Castle Hill shooting a skier in some creative setup amongst these AMAZING rock formations when I looked up and saw the moon rising. I snapped off a couple of shots with the 17-35mm f/2.8 wide angle but the moon was only a speck, which why I went with the telephoto for this, to draw the background into the huge rocks in my mid/foreground.
