This is part of a book I am designing for my 2D class. The book is on nature native to New Zealand. This is a Tuatara which is native to New Zealand. Check it out by clicking the link.
This was made in Illustrator and I used 2 resource images. All text is information I found out about the snail and descriptive words here and there. I created a compound path of all the text then made a clipping mask using the live traced images. To shape the text, I either used type on a path or put an envelope distort on straight text using a mesh then manipulated points to distort the text. |
