Sunrise on the Rocks by mark-flammable Sunrise on the Rocks by mark-flammable
This was my first session with my new Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 lens. I would usually have taken 3 shots to get this kind of pano but this is just a crop from one photo.
This is from Governors Bay towards Lyttelton Harbour and the Pacific Ocean. The lights to the left is Lyttelton town.

After getting up for the sunrise a week earlier and heading up the hills behind this position, I turned up here well early and managed to get the first light and take my time! This was one of the first shots I took.

I find this utterly amazing. The colours, reflection and overall composition work wonderful together and the town lights just add the special extra to it.
