I just learned how to use MathMap and decided Id make a new ID! Its me repeating inside my avos! Kinda trippy!

mathmap is great and loads of fun. I use it quite a bit for panoramas. Great job with this.

I'm no genius myself. I've seen some pretty amazing things done with it though. There's a group on flickr just for mathmap images and script discussion.

Sebastien Perez-Duarte, a genius in his own right, wrote these scripts for use with Panos, which I use quite regularly.

He has lots of gimp related software and some other panorama mathmap scripts. If you are a windoze user, I'm not, he also has lots of different plugins for Gimp as well.

Nah Im a mac user! So what do you do in mathmap? Do you use it to stitch the photos or create the mini planets or something?

Good for you. I really need to spend the money for a Mac soon. I love Linux, but I do like to diversify. :D

I use mathmap mainly just for nadir touch-ups with Seb's scripts. But I have played a little with the "Droste" effect scripts. I use Hugin for the "Planet" generation.

Can you help me out with my spherical panoramas? I Am having trouble with getting the zenith and nadir. Can you explain how you get these all ligned up?

you can get a plugin for photoshop to do this... its called mathmap but I used a standalone program called mathmap cocoa which is just for mac.
