I took this a while back, when I just got my new Lee GND filters. It was a tough exposure with the sun but in the end I was happy with this. I called it New Wester because it was taken from the same place as Nor' Wester - I wanted to revisit this spot having had a new wide angle lens, a panoramic tripod head and the new grads. Im happy with the results, even if the sunset didn't amount to much more than this!
EDIT Slight straighten and subtle colour adjustments after advice from =AndreasResch - Thank you! EDIT
Wow! This is awonderful golden hour capture! It's easy to let your eyes ease over the entire image and rest comfortably while taking in the beautiful scene!
I'm not a very experienced photographer myself so overall I can't suggest how to improve this image, but I'll be finicky.
- I think this image could do without the bit of tree in the upper left hand corner would give the sky a little bit more of an impact. - Also, the wooden poles off to the far right, above the middle, remind me of scratch marks...Maybe clone them out? Or if you're opposed to that, it may be interesting to see a cropped version of this photograph without the panoramic view, although I know that's the whole point of using a panoramic lens, heh

Hope this helps!
