The view of our first nights accommodation over the 3 tarns at Brass Monkey Biv. Tramping with my girlfriends uncle and his brother-in-law from the lewis pass. The small hut is where we stayed, 3 people in a small 2 bunk biv.
We walked for 10 hours this day and you can see the valley we walked into it from. This was after dinner and I ventured out for sunset. Beautiful area and great to be in such a remote place for sunset!

Check out the overview of the whole tramp here

EDIT: Slight brightening - it was a little dark.

haha really? I think it really compliments the picture, you get to capture the sky down on earth through the reflection too. I've studied so much about glacial landforms but never saw a lot of them so your shot really is an eye opener and gave me a new perspective ;) textbook illustrations kinda suck sometimes haha.

Freaking awesome! Love the sky and the reflections in the water. Also the ground has such a lovely structure and color.
