Cathedral Cove Sunset by mark-flammable Cathedral Cove Sunset by mark-flammable
EDIT: Again, I wasnt happy with the way I had processed the sky, I calmed the colours down again, reduced the noise a little and brightened it up ever so slightly. I am happy with the way it looks now.

After our day at Cathedral Cove, I wanted to get a sunrise at that beach, the sun would rise right out infront of the beach and would light the amazing sandy cliffs up perfectly!
So my girlfriend and I bought a tent for $30 - The Backyarder - and set out before sunset to camp on the beach.
After passing a few no camping signs (that we just didnt see!!!) we walked the 30 mins to the beach and ended up being the only people on the beach for sunset. I managed to get this 3 image stitch while the wispy clouds were lit up. The sunset was a quick one so I couldnt experiment with location or composition.
Im happy with how this one turned out!

Another great shot! When I was in NZ and we wanted to visit Cathedral Cove and the hot water pools, the weather was so stormy and cold, we had to leave it. So it's up on my list of must-revisit-places for the next trip. :D
