Hi everyone... well its been a long time since I wrote a journal, not so good at them! But today I thought I should write this to first of all tell everyone to check out the new pack from Digital Flow - Exhibition Four! It is a great pack with some really cool art!

Part of the pack is my first ever submission to DF! A milestone in its self, but when I searched through the pack, I saw that my photo had this strange tag on it that I didn't put there... it said "featured" Holy crap... I got featured the first piece I submitted in the first pack I was part of! So stoked!!!
I want to thank everyone at DF for this, especially =degodson who has been the person who suggested I apply and has been the biggest support within the group!

In other life, I have been quite quiet on here lately, especially with my photography... that is because I have been so busy with my degree. I am on holiday now tho (in Queenstown with my girl for 10 days) and when I go back to school in 2 more weeks I will have all new classes which I CANT WAIT for! 2D, 3D, Advertising, Figure Drawing and General Drawing is out and I start Digital 3 (computer based design), Digital 4 (computer based web design), Photography and Graphics. Looking forward to more digital based classes even though I enjoyed all the artistic stuff, but I feel like now I am starting the stuff I am there for! I really cant wait for photography tho... I think its very studio based but that will be fun to play with.
I have also had some great marks for the assignments from 1st term, including a 90% for my two 3D sculptured:

I also got a 92.5% in 2D for a simple recipe design and 80% for this Advertising assignment:


I had a lot of fun with my last assignments to finish out this term, especially my book which I was really proud with how it turned out! I will have marks back and some more photos of the assignments when I go back in 2 weeks.
